As the Avengers rally, others among them embark on a quest to uncover the technology necessary to vanquish this supernatural threat. Meanwhile, Loki is creating a shadow army. Tony, Black Panther, and Bruce create a light ray to defeat the monsters. But they only have one prototype, and Loki’s army has grown too large and powerful – they begin to swamp the Avengers. But they realize they’re in Manhattan, surrounded by huge buildings with massive slabs of glass in them. One of the Avengers escapes the army and flies into the air with the light ray, where they point its powerful beam of light at the buildings – it then bounces from building to building wiping the army out.
