To help our customers find the perfect symbols to express their love, we source diamonds from all over the world — from the deserts in southern Africa to the barren white landscape of the Canadian Arctic. We work with global partners in some of the most remote places on the planet to ensure high standards are met when sourcing Earth’s natural creations.  

Our parent company Signet is proud to have either co-created or co-founded a number of key global initiatives that involve the responsible sourcing of diamonds, colored gemstones, and precious metals, and is proud to provide our customers the confidence they need in making such a special purchase.

Held To A Higher Standard

KAY’s parent company is one of 14 Founding Members of the Responsible Jewellery Council, the world’s leading standard-setting organization for the jewelry and watch industry since 2005. The Responsible Jewellery Council boasts more than 1,600 members representing all aspects of the supply chain from mine to retail.  

We require that all of our strategic and key suppliers in our supply chain become active members of the RJC and adhere to its strict standards. Today, we remain a participant in the RJC's Sustainable Development Goals Taskforce and numerous committees, actively ensuring adherence to globally responsible business practices.

Transparency In A Complex System

Diamonds can be traded many times between each step of the supply chain. We work to ensure the diamonds used in our jewelry come from companies who act responsibly. KAY's parent company is an active, founding member of the World Diamond Council, a non-profit trade association established in 2000 to combine efforts in the global diamond industry to support the Kimberley Process, an international certification program that regulates trade in rough diamonds.  

We urge everyone with a stake in our industry to continue with, or join us in, the pursuit of integrity, transparency, and accountability by joining the Responsible Jewellery Council and the World Diamond Council.
