Shipping estimates defined here do not account for processing time, which may vary. Refer to your Estimated Arrival Date (details below) for the best estimate of when to expect your specific package.

Ground Shipping

Estimated Arrival Date on individual product pages will default to ground shipping or any shipping promotions current at the time of the order. Ground shipping generally takes longer than air services, so your package may not arrive for several days (approximately 3-5 business days).

Second Day and Overnight Shipping

Orders placed and payment approved by 2 p.m. ET Monday - Friday will be shipped after order processing completes. Processing times for most orders are about one day, but products requiring customization, such as rings needing to be sized and personalized items, can take up to 12 days to process. After the order is processed, it's scheduled to be delivered 2 business days from the ship date.

Orders placed after 2 p.m. ET or on Saturday, Sunday, or holidays, will also be subject to processing times (pending payment approval) and will be scheduled to be delivered 2 business days from the ship date.

Saturday Shipping

Orders for UPS Saturday Delivery may only be placed on Thursday (after 6 p.m. ET) through Friday (before 2 p.m. ET). UPS Saturday Delivery is not available for orders to U.S. territories (except Puerto Rico), APO/FPO, or P.O. boxes.

Free Shipping to Your KAY Store

When you make a purchase at KAY.com, you may choose to have your order delivered to the KAY Jewelers nearest you, always FREE. This is a great way to receive your order whenever it's convenient for you — and to keep secret gift-giving a surprise. Get started by finding your local KAY store.

If you choose the ship-to-store option, orders are shipped to your KAY Jewelers location via UPS 2nd Business Day Air®. You'll receive an email (and a text message, if selected at checkout) notifying you when the order has arrived in the store. Once this email is sent, you have 30 days to pick up your purchase.

When you come into the store, you'll need to sign for your purchase and present a valid photo ID. For your protection, we require the order be picked up by the person who made the purchase.

Please note: After 30 days, your order will be sent back to KAY.com, and the original method of payment will be credited. Orders containing Previously Owned Treasures and/or Giftware are not eligible for in-store pick-up. These orders may only be shipped either to your home address or to an alternate address. KAY.com orders shipped to a store requiring gift wrapping will be wrapped by one of our helpful store associates at time of pick-up.


Shipping Details

Ship to Your Door

If you're shipping to a U.S. street address, we'll ship your order via UPS. For your security, merchandise orders over $1,000 will only be shipped to the billing address that corresponds to the address associated with your method of payment. Any order of $1,000 or more will require an adult's signature.

Delivery to a P.O. box or an APO/FPO/DPO address will be handled by the U.S. Postal Service via Priority Mail, though APO/FPO/DPO addresses may also go through the Military Postal Service (which will increase shipping time). Most processing times are about one day, but for some purchases, processing time can take up to 7 days.

For rings that require resizing, please allow for 12 days. Class rings may take up to 25 days to ship due to the level of personalization required. You'll be notified when your item has shipped.

Free shipping to U.S. street addresses and KAY Jewelers locations in the continental United States only, with $50 minimum purchase. Excludes shipments to U.S. territories, P.O. boxes, and APO/FPO addresses.

Estimated Arrival Date

Want to know when your jewelry will arrive? You can find your Estimated Arrival Date for each item on individual product page, in the shopping bag, in checkout, and in your order confirmation. This date does take into account:

  • Additional time needed for ring sizing
  • Time needed to create personalized and special order items
  • Items shipping from different locations on different days
  • Shipping method selected at checkout.

Possible Delays

We aim to be as accurate as possible when calculating the arrival date for your purchase, but some factors may cause that to change, such as:

  • COVID-19 delays
  • Domestic and international holidays
  • Vendor closures
  • Delays in credit approval
  • Weather delays
  • Other shipping/vendor service disruptions
  • APO/FPO/DPO orders going through the Military Postal Service Agency (MPSA)
  • Special orders, personalized merchandise, and Design-A-Ring orders may ship from different locations on different days.

Shipping Terms to Know

Pending: Your order has been submitted. It's pending shipment; however, your order may be in pending status for a variable amount of time due to many factors including ring sizing, special orders, or vendor service disruptions caused by COVID-19. Once your order ships, your status will change to shipped.

Shipped: Once your order has shipped, we'll send you an email (as well as a text if you choose that option) with your tracking number and estimated arrival date. You can also check the progress on the Order Status page or use the tracking number on your chosen carrier's website.

Received: Your package has been delivered.
