At KAY we’re inspired to tell your love story through our jewelry designs. That’s why we take sourcing gemstones, metals, and materials for our jewelry seriously. We are committed to maintaining our status as a responsible diamond retailer for all our KAY customers.

How Is KAY Jewelers Responsible?

We hold ourselves to the high standard of being a responsible diamond retailer as a core brand for Signet Jewelers.  At KAY we do this by working with responsible jewelry suppliers compliant to the Signet Responsible Sourcing Protocol (SRSP), the standard-bearer for supply chain best practices in our industry.

Signet Responsible Sourcing Protocol Covers:

  • Gold
  • Diamonds
  • Silver
  • Tungsten
  • Tin
  • Tantalum
  • Platinum Group Metals
  • Colored Gemstones (Rubies, Sapphires, and Emeralds)
  • Laboratory Grown Diamonds

Are KAY Diamonds Conflict-Free?

For a resource to be conflict-free, it must be acquired in way that respects the dignity of human beings and human rights. KAY, as a Signet Jewelers brand, is an active member inf the World Diamond Council (WDC) and supporter of the Kimberly Process (KP) that prevents conflict diamonds from entering the global diamond trade.

KAY is also part of and aligned with the Responsible Jewellery Council, an industry respected organization that sets the standard for human rights, labor rights, environmental impact, mining practices, and other relevant topics for jewelry retailers. By actively engaging in organizations committed to responsible supply chains KAY takes part in due diligence to remove conflict-diamonds and other conflict-materials from our industry.
