Order Processing Times

 

To ensure your order is completed successfully, we may require additional processing time before being shipped. Most processing times are about one day, but for some purchases--such as personalized jewelry--this processing time can take up to 7 days. For rings that require resizing, please allow for 12 days. Class rings may take up to 25 days to ship, due to the level of personalization required. You will be notified when your item has shipped.

Free Shipping on orders for non-personalized in-stock items:

Orders placed and payment approved by 2:00 PM Monday - Friday ET will be shipped the same day the order is placed and are scheduled to be delivered 2 business days from the ship date.*

Orders placed after 2:00 PM ET or on Saturday, Sunday, or holidays will be shipped no later than the next business day (pending payment approval) and are scheduled to be delivered 2 business days from the ship date.*

Additional time needed to create your merchandise is included in the Safe Shipping information on the individual product pages for the following types of merchandise:

  • Items requiring ring sizing
  • Design-A-Ring
  • Special Order items
  • Personalized items

*Business days do not include Saturdays, Sundays, or holidays. 

Ship to Your Door

 

You can have your package shipped directly to you.

  • If you're shipping to a US street address, we'll use UPS.
  • Delivery to a PO Box or an APO/FPO/DPO address will be by US Postal Service vie Priority Mail, though APO/FPO/DPO addresses may also go through the Military Postal Service (which will increase shipping time).
  • For your security, merchandise orders over $1,000 will only be shipped to the billing address for the method of payment you choose. Any orders of $1,000 or over needs an adult signature.

When Your Order Will Ship

 

Orders for non-personalized, in-stock items that do not require ring sizing:

Orders that are placed and payment approved by 2:00 PM Monday - Friday ET will be shipped on the same day as the order is placed.

Orders placed after 2:00 PM ET or on Saturday, Sundays, or holidays will be shipped no later than the next business day pending payment approval. (Business days are Monday - Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays).

Additional time will be required:

  • To create your personalized item
  • For special orders
  • For orders requiring ring sizing
  • For Design-A-Ring orders

This additional time is reflected within the Safe Shipping information on individual product information pages, in the shopping bag, and throughout the checkout process.

When you make a purchase on kay.com, you may choose to have your order delivered to the KAY Jewelers nearest you with no additional charge for shipping. This gives you the opportunity to speak with our expert sales professionals who will help answer any questions. Orders are shipped to a KAY Jewelers location via UPS 2nd Business Day Air®. Please note that kay.com orders shipped to a store requiring gift wrapping will be wrapped by one of our helpful store associates at time of pick-up.

If you choose the ship-to-store option, you will receive an e-mail (and a text message, if selected at checkout) notifying you when the order has arrived in the store. Once this e-mail is sent, you will have 30 days to pick up your purchase.**

WHEN YOU COME INTO THE STORE, YOU WILL NEED TO SIGN FOR YOUR PURCHASE AND PRESENT A VALID PHOTO ID. For your protection, we require that the order be picked up by the person who made the purchase.

*Orders containing Previously Owned Treasures and/or Giftware are not eligible for in-store pick-up. These orders may only be shipped either to your home address or to an alternate address.

Free Gift Wrap

Excludes special order Citizen watches. If gift wrap is available for your Citizen purchase, it will show in your Shopping Bag.

Items in your ship to store order will be wrapped at your request by one of our sales associates when you pick up your order.
