WITTNAUER LIMITED 5-YEAR WARRANTY: Your new Wittnauer timepiece is warranted only to the original owner for 5 years from date of purchase, under the following conditions:

Registration: The 5-year warranty is valid only if the enclosed Warranty Reply Form is completed and returned within 60 days of purchase. If Warranty Reply Form is not completed and returned as required, your new Wittnauer timepiece will only be warranted to the original owner for two (2) years from date of purchase in accordance with all other terms and conditions of the Wittnauer Warranty.

Coverage: Wittnauer will repair, free of charge, any parts of the watch that have failed due to original defects in materials or workmanship under normal use, or, at its option, will replace the watch with a comparable watch. This warranty does not cover: 1. Required periodic Service and Maintenance for Mechanical Wittnauers. 2. Damage to, alteration, misuse or abuse of, the watch. 3. Deterioration and scratches to the watch finish (case, bracelet, crown or crystal) due to wear and tear. 4. The battery and leather strap. 5. Water damage if the model is not marked water-resistant and moisture or water damage to watches which are improperly resealed after opening of the case. 6. Improperly or incorrectly performed Service and Maintenance, repairs or servicing voids the warranty. Service and Maintenance, or any repairs or servicing which requires opening of the case, must be performed by a properly qualified technician, preferably an Authorized Wittnauer Dealer, or by the Bulova Corporation.

Service and Maintenance for Mechanical Wittnauers: The 5 year warranty for mechanical Wittnauer models is valid only if you provide proof that your watch received periodic Service and Maintenance, including, but not limited to, cleaning, lubrication and regulation every three years.

Packaging and Mailing Instructions: Send the watch in a durable box with protective wrapping to protect against shock, with postage prepaid and insured for the full replacement value to:

Include information regarding the service or repair requested with your name, address and phone number. of the package. All implied warranties, including any implied warranty of merchantability is limited to the duration of the expressed limited warranty. Wittnauer is not liable for any consequential or incidental damages, and any recovery may not exceed the amount paid for the watch. This warranty gives you specific legal rights; you may also have other rights which vary from state to state, so the limitations in this paragraph may not apply to you.
