CONSENT TO ELECTRONIC DELIVERY OF MATERIALS
Important Information about Paperless Statements and Electronic Disclosures
This document establishes consent to deliver communications to you electronically. Please read the following important information about paperless billing statements and receiving disclosures electronically and retain a copy for your records. The words we, usand our mean Sterling Jewelers Inc. d/b/a Kay Jewelers and Kay Jewelers Outlet. The word you means the individual or individuals with a Kay Jewelers and Kay Jewelers Outlet credit card account.
Consent to Receipt of Electronic Delivery of Communications
By indicating your agreement below, you agree that we may provide you with your billing statements and any disclosures, notices or other information legally required in connection with your Kay Jewelers card Account (collectively "disclosures") electronically rather than in paper form.
Scope of Consent
Your consent applies to the receipt of all legal and/or regulatory disclosures associated with your credit card Account. These disclosures include, but are not limited to:
- Notices or disclosures about a change in the terms of your Account
- Amendments or addenda to the Cardmember Agreement or to the terms of any benefits, products, or services offered in connection with your Account including the Payment Protection Plan
Delivery of Electronic Communications
All communications that we provide to you in electronic form will be provided either (1) via e-mail, (2) by access to a website that we will designate in an e-mail notice we send to you at the time the information is available.
How to Update Your Records
It is your responsibility to provide and maintain a current e-mail address. You can update your information by clicking on the "Manage Settings/Statement Delivery" options.
Hardware and software requirements
To ensure you receive the necessary messages and disclosures electronically, you must have a valid Internet e-mail address, Internet access and access to a printer and the following:
- A connection to the Internet.
- A current version of an Internet browser which supports HTML and SSL-encryption.
- Your browser settings must have cookies and java script enabled.
- A means to print or store notices and information through your browser software.
- Ability to view PDF files via Adobe Acrobat Reader. Online statements are available to you in portable document format [PDF]. You must have Adobe Acrobat Reader to access the PDF files. If you do not have Adobe Acrobat Reader you must download the program to your computer. If you are unable to download Adobe Acrobat Reader to your computer, you should not select electronic delivery.
- The hardware and software necessary to operate the items above.
You have the right to receive your billing statements and disclosures in paper form, and may at any time withdraw your consent to receive them electronically. There will be no fees or penalties for withdrawal of your consent. You can withdraw your consent, update your e-mail address or request a paper copy of a billing statement or disclosure by e-mailing us, by clicking the "Manage Settings/Statement Delivery" links or by calling 1-800-877-3616. There is no fee for paper copies of your billing statements or disclosures.
Please allow up to three days for your enrollment to take effect. Depending on your billing statement closing date, you may receive one more paper statement.
We reserve the right to terminate this service, change terms of your use of this service or send disclosures in paper form at any time. We will provide you with notice of any such termination or change as required by law.
By clicking the "I accept" checkbox below, you certify that you consent to receive billing statements and disclosures electronically and have the ability to do so. We will send you a confirmation e-mail to the e-mail address you have provided us. If you do not receive this confirmation e-mail within 48 hours, please contact us at 1-800-877-3616 to verify your e-mail address.
You understand that the information you have elected to receive is confidential in nature. We are not responsible for unauthorized access by third parties to information and /or communications provided electronically nor any damages, including direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential damages caused by any unauthorized access. We are not responsible for delays in the transmission of any information. In the event you do not receive an anticipated e-mail notice, it is your responsibility to log on to the Kay Jewelers or Kay Jewelers Outlet website and obtain your disclosures and arrange for payment on your account. We are not responsible for any computer virus or related problems. If your e-mail address changes, you are required to notify us.
